My James Hare obsession continues…..
Mikado, Domino and Solitaire | JAMES HARE
I really am rather obsessed with James Hare, and then they bring out Mikado, Domino and Solitaire……. WOW…….. it is just wonderful to see all this colour, but James Hare get things right…. They choose their pigments so cleverly, so you get the depth of colour without it shouting!
This is not easy: colours from James Hare always look and feel expensive…. But they aren’t! James Hare isn’t cheap but it isn’t a high end fabric choice either.
I am a bit fussy about my geometrics, some of them are just a bit too 1950’s for me, but these ones, I get. They will be on the money for upholstering covering mid-century furniture. The Bagatelle has quite a bit about it and if used correctly could be an ‘understated statement’ – the Domino is in my favourite colours….. need I say more…
As always, for me, fabrics have to ‘earn their keep’ and yet again, with all of this range they are fairly tough and the Bagatelle and Domino are perfect for footstools, headboards, cushions, occasional chairs etc etc etc.
I really do not feel a need to write anymore about it….. the James Hare photoshoot just speaks for itself.
