We just love motorised blinds.  They come into their ‘own’ where you have more than one blind in a room.   You get a consistent ‘level’ throughout when fully raised throughout a room with only a click of a button.  They also can be retrofitted using battery power with the batteries only requiring a yearly charge.    The blinds in my study have now been fully tested for 3 years – and so far have not ‘failed’ once!

They do have a cost implication but in the last few years this has come down significantly.
